When considering your drawer front choice to go with your doors, basically you have 2 choices. A corresponding raised panel front or matching shaker style front to go with the
shaker style doors - as long as your height requirement permits.
Or, just a slab drawer front. Slab means flat face. There is no raised panel or sunken panel profile. The drawer front is just flat, and then you would
request it with a matching edge to go with your doors. Shown to the left is a raised panel front above a Roman arch top door. We do not have a lot of samples to show a proper combination. This picture more or less was
grouped because of the color of the drawer front and the door. Normally, base cabinet doors are square top and you have your drawer fronts above those. Arch top doors are a common mix for your upper cabinets. But the
choices are yours to do as you like. A kitchen full of slab doors is a very nice look. Installing raised panel doors, but then slab drawer fronts is one of the most popular combinations out there. You have many design
choices that you can do. And it is your choice. There are no set rules about how it should be done. Just don't mix things up that really do not go together. As always, if you have any questions, you can e-mail us. NOTES: Drawer front design 800F has 4 equal size rails. It is the same as design 800 door. BUT, doors have vertically running grain for woodgrain
patterns. An 800F drawer front will have a horizontally running grain. Design 800FC will have reduced top and bottom rails to allow for shorter height requirements. All minimum heights are listed above. Design 8DF
slab drawer front can go with anything and allows for some really small sizes. |
Inside pass profiles and edge profiles for RTF door selections.
NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT STUFF to know about the RTF doors shown above. Basically, there are only three door styles shown above: 800, 801, and 805.
Designs 800, 801, and 805 can be made with ANY of the pass profile and edge profile choices that you would like.
Thus C2, C3, and C4 can be requested in square top doors(800), cathedral top(801), and Roman arch top(805).
The 112, 113, 118, and 191 edge choices can be made with any of the pass profiles. If you want a C4-191 or a C4-113, or whatever, you can have it. Mix them up.
Design 800 S2 slab door can be made with edges 112, 113, 118, or 191. Request it how you like it. Design 800 S4-118 door comes only with the 118 edge. This is the specialty shaker style door.
Design 800 S5-118 comes only this way. This is the specialty beaded shaker style door. Every door design is available in all 8 RTF colors shown below. Any question? Please e-mail us. |
RTF Color selection: Matte white and white woodgrain are bright whites, but not glossy. On the white woodgrain, you will see a grain pattern.
The antique white is more like a bone color; it is an off white. Almond is darker than antique white. The woodgrain colors are displayed well below.
The images shown below are actual scans of the RTF material. They are good representations.
(The dark streak in the bottom right corner of each color is dirt on the bottom of our scanner glass that we cannot clean - ignore it.)

Old Quality Doors help is still farther down the page. If you would like your doors bored for concealed 35mm cup hinges,
please select boring option #1 or option #2 as shown below. **For designs 801 or 805, state BL (bore left); BR (bore right); BP (bore as pairs).
Hinges for 1/2" overlay on a face frame edge mount are available from Woodmont Doors. Hinge boring is $2.10 per door, concealed hinges WD-900CD are $5 per pair.
To view actual pictures of the hinges, and other concealed hinge options, please select this link. |
How to calculate square footage: Multiple your width in inches by your height in inches, divide by 144, round off to the second decimal place.
Example: your door is 15-7/8" wide x 27-9/16" tall. (15.875 x 27.5625)/144 = 3.04 sq. ft. If you are uncertain how to determine the decimal equivalent of a fraction, just divide the top number by the bottom number.
Examples: 7/8 is 7 divided by 8 = .875. Or 13/16 is 13 divided by 16 = .8125. Square foot calculations for frame only or mullion doors is different and described on the mullion door page. How to calculate the price of a door or drawer front:
Take the square foot pricing from the chart below and multiply by the sq. ft. calculation.
Extremely larger doors will have additional shipping charges due to the way they must be packed and shipped. Extremely large is considered over 60" tall.
How to calculate shipping on RTF doors and drawer fronts: Within the continental 48 US States, $1.20 per sq. ft. no matter what door design or wood choice.
A $10 minimum shipping charge applies to all small orders under 8.35 square feet. Please remember, we will quote out your request for you if you would like to submit your information on-line. Pricing: |

On-line ordering page or quotation requests |
Information about ordering frame only or mullion RTF doors: Frame only doors are a door with a big hole in the middle for your glass panel. It is just the top, bottom, and
left and right frame rails with one large opening. Mullion doors are the same frame but with mullion rails to create multiple openings within the entire large opening. Any of the above raised panel or shaker panel RTF
doors can be ordered as frame only (FO) or as mullion doors. Mullion doors can be 4-lite, 6-lite, 8-lite, and on square top doors only, you could have 9-lite too (3 rows and 3 columns). Styles 801 and 805 will have only
2 columns, but can have 2, 3, or 4 rows of lites. Pricing on frame only and mullion doors
is priced at twice the square foot pricing shown in the chart above. BUT the difference is sq. ft. calculations are based on a 9" width multiplier frame only and mullion doors, then each mullion lite on mullion doors will add $9.40 to the door price. Thus if you request a 4-lite door (ML4), that will add $37.60 to the door price after calculating the square footage and multiplying that by the twice the sq. ft. pricing above. We will be happy to quote any doors in advance for you. Please use our on-line quotation request form.
Maximum size on any frame only or mullion RTF door is 31" x 60". Minimum size requirements vary a little by what is shown for solid panel doors above. Most are about an inch larger in height and width.
RTF refacing sheets: Thermal foil (PSA) pressure sensative adhesive backed sheets in 24" x 96" are available.
$112.00 per 24x96 sheet in any RTF color shown above.

Quality Doors old RTF door information: We had offered Quality Doors from 2001 through their shutdown in December of 2009. With their shutdown, it did
present some obstacles in offering high quality custom sized doors. Fortunately, Woodmont Doors has expanded their Thermal Foil door selections to match several of the Quality Doors styles and to offer some close
substitutes on a few more designs. The two graphics below we have created to help you to know Woodmont Doors RTF doors a little better and how the designs compare to Quality Doors. After the two graphics, we will
explain some of our notes on the graphics and some data about the RTF color cross references.

Please note: the Woodmont Doors pass profile diagrams are shown higher above on this page.

The two graphics above were created by Eclectic-ware and are for exclusive use on our web site only.
Notes about Woodmont Doors to Quality Doors comparisons: Door designs are the same:
WD's 800 is QD's 700, the 801 is the 701, the 805 was QD's 716. Profiles: WD's C2 is the same look as QD's C2, but it is not quite as wide.
WD's C3 is exclusive to Woodmont, it does not match any QD pass profiles. WD's C4 is a good substitute for WD's HV3, but it is not identical. There are a few contour differences.
WD's S2 slab is the same as QD's 77R2, 112 edge is identical too. WD's S4 shaker style, and the S5 beaded shaker style are 99% matches. The reason we
say 99% is because the WD frame rails measure 2" and the QD frame rails measure 2-1/16". If you measure them side by side you can tell this. If you do not measure them, you cannot tell the difference.
WD's 112 edge matches QD's 112, the 113 matches the 113, the 118 matches QD's 115. The 191 edge is a very close match to QD's 191, but not an exact match. Colors:
WD's matte white is a spec more brighter and crystal-like than QD's matte white, but an excellent substitute. WD's woodgrain white seems to be a 100% match to QD's woodgrain matte white.
WD's antique white is a 98 to 99% match to QD's antique white. WD's almond is an exact match to QD's almond. WD's pear is an exact match to QD's pear.
WD's Autumn Oak is a little lighter and more on the brown tone than QD's Lite Oak. No reddish hue. WD's Natural Maple is a little lighter and much better looking that QD's natural maple.
WD's pickled maple is a cross between QD's Sanibel Maple and Dunwood. The pickled maple looks more like a natural whitewash color but without that pinkish hue to it.
Woodmont does not have a match to the Dunwood or Sanibel Maple. Their pickled maple is meant as a sub for either, but it does not match either.
If you are looking to add a door or two to your kitchen that has Quality Doors in it, some Woodmont designs can fill that need, some are close, and you could be out of luck if none of the above info helped.
The reason we have the above data is because we compared our old Quality Doors sample doors to the sample doors we received from Woodmont. So all of the above references are from us and no other
source. And we did double check our comparisons. This is the most accurate data you will find.
